Is a driving license required to drive a snowmobile?

Yes, the person driving the quad/buggy must have a driving license.

Can children take part in snowmobile tours?

Most snowmobiles tour operators accept children over the age of 5 or 6. Children must be supervised by an adult and are not allowed to operate a snowmobile on their own.

What would be appropriate clothing on the snowmobile ride?

Ski pants and ski jacket, good gloves, turtleneck, a cap to put under a helmet, warm boots, goggles. Helmets are provided! For an extra fee you can usually borrow warm jacket, trousers and gloves before your trip.

Can snowmobiles enter the Tatra National Park?

Tatra National Park does not allow entry by snowmobiles, quad bikes, buggies, motorcycles, horses, or... even bicycles. Bicycles are only allowed in the Chochołowska Valley.
