I created and published the website www.discoverzakopane.com in 2003. It was one of the first informational websites about Zakopane dedicated for foreigners. The entire site was written in English, with several subpages translated into Norwegian, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, and Danish, and within a few days, I had the first inquiries from tourists from these countries. It was pure magic :) For many years, I offered the services of my travel agency Altius, here – organizing team-building trips for groups from all over Europe and ski courses for families. Together with my parents I used to organize horse-drawn sleigh rides in the Chochołowska Valley, which our clients really enjoyed. I no longer offer any travel services, and the only income from discoverzakopane.com comes from commissions from booking.com and getyourguide for the accommodations and tours you book.
Therefore, I would like to sincerely thank everyone who supports my work in this way.
