SNOWLANDIA IN ZAKOPANE:

Snowlandia is located in the upper part of Zakopane, on the right side of the ski jumping hill Wielka Krokiew, at the very border of the Tatra National Park.

Snowlandia is a winter wonderland park

Snowlandia is open (depending on the weather) from the late December to early March and consists of the following attractions:
the largest Snow Maze in Poland with an area of about 3000m2,
Snow Castle with towers reaching 15m
Ice Palace, where you can admire ice sculptures
sled hill with sleds rental,
ski lift and ski slope for beginners.

Worth knowing - the Snowlandia Ice Labyrinth / Maze is a seasonal attraction, usually open from mid-January to mid-March. Producing the right amount of artificial snow takes almost a month and is only possible at sub-zero temperatures. A major threat to Snowlandia is the Halny wind - a warm, dry foehn wind that causes rapid melting of snow.
