KOSCIELISKO is a popular Podhale village bordering Zakopane and the Tatra National Park. Until 1994, the town belonged, together with Zakopane, to the Tatrzanska commune. In addition to wonderful views of the Tatra Mountains, Kościelisko offers beautiful cross-country skiing routes, attractive areas for walks and mountain bike trips, frequently organized regional events and a wide range of accommodation with several dozen cottages for rent. How to get to Koscielisko. Kościelisko has no direct connection to Krakow or Katowice. When planning a stay in Kościelisko, you can come by bus or train to Zakopane ( how to get to Zakopane ), and then go to nearby Kościelisko by local bus or taxi.. You can also order direct transport from the airport (check here ) or rent a car at the airport (check here ).
Getting around Koscielisko - there are several bus stops in the village, where stop minibusses of the following routes: Zakopane - Dolina Kościeliska, Zakopane - Dolina Chochołowska, Zakopane - Dzianisz.
