The funicular ride from the center of Zakopane to the top of the Gubalowka Hill is one of the must-do during your stay in Zakopane. If only the weather is nice you will have a chance to admire the lovely views over the Tatra Mountains, Zakopane, and Koscielisko on the South and Gorce and Beskidy Mountains as well as the small villages on the North. There are also many attractions for the tourists - available both in summer and winter.

Gubalowka funicular - ticket prices and opening hours

Tickets for the Gubalowka cable railway are not expensive and costs (2019/2020) from 14 PLN (one way titcket, low season, reduced price) up to 24 PLN (return ticket, normal price, high season). Discount tickets can be bought by children, youth and students, as well as people over 65 years old. Children under 4 do not need a ticket. To buy a discounted ticket one should presents, a document confirming the date of birth and a student card (school pupils and students).
