We always book a chalet which allows us the freedom of the family atmosphere. We love to cook breakfast in the morning while snowing outside. The atmosphere is unbelievable. Kids love to go bring the logs for the fireplace.
Shopping in Krupowki Street is a must, which is just 5 minutes away. In Zakopane there are lot of winter activities. We prefer to do a different activity each day. We go skiing since there are various skiing resorts. Also we love the husky sledge ride (kids love this) in the midst of the forest which is an experience which cannot be missed.
Every time we visit Zakopane we never miss the Tatra mountain sleigh ride with Barbara. It is three hour horse ride in the middle of the Tatra mountains. The views are picturesque. Than a stop for a hot chocolate and an apple pie in the midst of the park and back again. This trip cannot be missed when visiting Zakopane.
We also visit the thermal baths which we also don’t miss in every visit. Swimming in 36 degrees water while snowing is a unique experience. Gubalowka mountain is also a beautiful place to visit with the market just underneath for all those real fur lovers. But my kids love Zakopane most for its safeness and nice people.

Great localization next to the biggest ski centre in our region, as well as modern thermal pools, nice staff, very good food, modern but traditional furniture and decorations, many attractions and activities for kids and adults.
Perfect location for beginner skiers - vis a vis the Nosal ski center (great ski courses for children), friendly staff, excellent breakfasts, the possibility of using attractions in other Nosalowy Dwor hotels, cozy and authentic hotel.
