ZAKOPANE NATIVITY SCENE

The most beautiful Christmas crib in Zakopane

Christmas Nativity Scene inside the Bernardins church

At the turn of December and January in Bernardine's church in upper Zakopane, you can admire a beautiful, mobile nativity scene. The crib was created in 1953 according to the design of Maria Veltuzen.
The crib can be seen before and after masses and services from Christmas to the Epiphany / Three Kings' Day (6th of January).
Masses on weekdays: 7.00, 18.00
Masses on Sundays and holidays: 7.00, 8.30, 10.00, 11.30, 17.00, 19.00
The church has two entrances: from 8 Karlowicza street (access by car) and from Bulwary Slowackiego 33.

CHRISTMAS CRIB IN BERNARDINES CHURCH

  • Zakopane, Bulwary Slowackiego 33 Street

As a child, I loved the Christmas Nativity Scene at the Bernardine Church (so-called the church on Bystre). Dozens of moving figures, a moving cable car to Kasprowy Wierch, a retinue of the Three Kings, numerous animals and ringing bells in the mini church tower will certainly delight every child and most adults.
