THREE KINGS DAY PROCESSION IN ZAKOPANE

recommended for everyone

January 6th is a national work holiday in Poland and Three Kings Processions are organized throughout the country. In Zakopane the procession will be preceded by a mass in the Church of the Holy Family (Krupowki 1 st.), which will start at 11 a.m. Then a colorful procession (everyone will receive paper crowns) will go along Kościeliska Street to the nearby Old Chapel (Koscieliska 4).

PARADA GAZDOWSKA IN BIALY DUNAJEC

PARADA GAZDOWSKA (also known as a KUMOTERSKA GOŃBA or just KUMOTERKI) is an event worth seeing. The next kumoterki (traditional highlanders' small horse-drawn sleds) races will take place on Sunday, 21st of January in the village of Bialy Dunajec.
