Both on the access roads to Zakopane and in the city itself, significant difficulties in driving and finding parking are expected.
We encourage you to leave your car at your accommodation and travel around Zakopane on foot or by public transport.
The following streets will be closed to car traffic:
1. Kościuszki on the section from the intersection with Sienkiewicza to the intersection with Al. 3-go Maja

Additionally, sections of the following streets may be closed to traffic: Aleje 3-go Maja from Rondo Solidarności, Aleje 3 Maja from Kościuszki to Krupówki and Krupówki from Aleje 3-go Maja to the intersection with Zamoyskiego, Witkiewicza st. and Tetmajera st., which will be decided by the District Police Headquarters in Zakopane depending on the development of the situation. On the Kamieniec street there will be a total ban on stopping and parking on both sides of the street on the section from Nowotarska st. to the entrance to the District Hospital.
Remember please to take care of your personal safety and pay attention to your handbags and wallets. Do not leave valuables unattended when in a crowd, keep valuables in your inner pockets.
There will be a separate place at the event site for disabled people in wheelchairs. Entrance from the street Sienkiewicza (near the Villa Toscana restaurant).
The city of Zakopane does not organize fireworks displays. We also encourage all residents and tourists not to use firecrackers, flares or other pyrotechnic materials in order to protect the safety of animals in the city and the Tatra National Park.
Some of my personal advice - it is better not to enter the concert area fenced with barriers, but watch the performances from a greater distance. I suggest wearing waterproof shoes because of the mud. If you can, do not use cars or taxis - usually on New Year's Eve in Zakopane there are unimaginable traffic jams.
