There are plenty of easy slopes, rentals with good equipment and ski schools. The licensed ski schools are located in the bottom of the main ski centres.
The most popular lessons in our region are individual lessons with one up to three students for one instructor. The price for one to one ski lesson is about 60 PLN per hour (55 - 65 pln in different ski schools). Because the price rises with the number of students we do recommend the one to one or two to one instructor lessons which guarantee very fast progress.
We suggest to visit the ski school just after arrival to Zakopane and to book the lesson with English speaking instructor. Notice please that it takes at least half an hour to rent the ski equipment. For those who would like a little bit more comfort we recommend our ski courses with picks up from the hotel, rental the ski equipment with an instructor help and transfers to the slopes included.
The itinerary of the SKI PACKAGE:
Day 1st: meeting the driver at the airport (or in Krakow city) and private transfer to the hotel (an apartment, pension, cottage or guest house) in Zakopane
Day 2nd: meeting the ski instructor, transfer to the slope, ski equipment rental with the instructor help, 2 hours of the ski lessons.
Day 3rd and 4th: meeting the ski instructor on the slope; 2 hours ski lessons
Day 5th: skiing without instructor, return the equipment directly to the ski rental
Day 6th: check out from the hotel before 11.00 am; return transfer to the airport can be ordered separately.
The given prices include: 5 nights of accommodation; six hours of the private ski course; renting the ski equipment and private transfer from Krakow.
Prices don't include the ski lift costs.
