Nordic Walking (walking using specially designed poles and learned technique) is wonderful form of physical activity as it involves more than 90% of the muscles, improves blood circulation and being available to everyone, regardless of age and physical condition stands attractive way of spending free time.
Discover Zakopane by... Nordic Walking combines guided walking tours with personal tuition of Nordic Walking. It is available to anyone who can walk a distance of 5 - 6 km.
Don't worry that some people from the group will walk to fast for you for our tours are private and we don't mix the groups. We can stop and rest whenever you like because I wish the trip to be a pleasure, not a race.
The Strążyska Valley is one of the prettiest and easiest accessible valleys in Polish Tatras. The well prepared patch leads through beech-fir forest. On the Polana (clearing) Strązyska there are a few shepeherds huts and tiny teahouse. At the very end of the valley we will see a small waterfall Siklawica.
A walk in both directions, with a short break for tea on Polana Strążyska takes approximately 2 hours.
Thank you so much Barbara! I enjoyed your company and your knowledge and the awesome treks!
Hi Barbara, thank you for great nordic walking! We really enjoyed it. We ate at the restaurant you recommended for lunch and it was great! We also enjoyed lovely dinners at the Italian and the hotel. Thank you!
Thanks, Kate and Anthony
