Zakopane HUSKY RIDES:
Husky rides and dogsledgings are not popular sports in Poland. But in Zakopane there is a man who loves dogs. Husky ride is his hobby. He own 10-12 malamuts and siberian huskies. The dogs are very friendly and seems to like their job. Like their boss :-). We have two offers for those who likes to try husky rides:
Individual husky rides: for one - two persons.
Together with your guide you will go along one the Tatra National Park valley. You can lead the team of four - six dogs while the guide is relaxing on the sledges or you can ask your guide to drive. As you wish... We can arrange two dogs sledges with 4-6 dogs each.
Price for 2 hours safari: 600 PLN + VAT per sledge.
To reduce the price one of you can walk up the valley, while the second one is leading the dogs and you can change the positions on the way back.
Husky rides for families and groups:
For groups, especially families with children, we recommend the picnics including the lunch at the bonfire. The picnic takes place on the forest clearing, out of the busy roads and ski slopes. For the families and small groups we arrange one dog sledges with 6 - 8 dogs (so they are changed). One or two people ride the sledges on the marked trail while the others tasting the soup, roasting the sausages on the bonfire, having tea or playing in the snow. Price for 2 hours fun for group under 12 (bonfire and lunch including): 1.090 PLN
For the groups over 16 - 20 people we can arrange the same picnic with an extra activities: skijoring (skiing behind the horse) and snowmobiles rides. The price is calculated individually.
