Zakopane: trainings, conferences and incentive events in Tatra Mountains
Zakopane is the perfect place for integration events, training courses, conferences and business meetings. The town boasts four beautiful four-star hotels, several three-star hotels and a number of comfortable pensions. The location of Zakopane is simply enchanting, as this town of 30,000 lies right at the foot of the picturesque Tatra Mountains. It takes only 15 minutes on foot to get to the Tatra National Park from the town centre, which is also only 110 km away from Balice airport in Cracow and the main railway station in Cracow.
Participants of incentive stays in Zakopane can count on numerous attractions based on the unique location of the town as well as on its living folklore. Dinner in a regional inn is an absolute must in the programme. 
A live highland band plays in the background and dancers invite diners to dance a polka or learn the basic steps of the zbójnicki, a traditional highland dance. The dinner is often preceded with a
kulig, a horse-drawn sleigh or carriage ride through the streets of Zakopane, or even better, through one of the Tatra valleys. The choice of outdoor events depends to a large extent on the season.
In winter skiing is the most popular -
from the first downhill on a beginners slope, through practising and improving on Kasprowy Wierch, to professional championships with electronic timing, starting numbers and the atmosphere of World Cup events.
Those who can do without all this white madnesscan take an unforgettable ride on a snow scooter or dog sleigh, or participate in a
jollybiathlon with team racing and learning how to shoot from a rifle. In summer the Tatras tempt participants of business stays with easy hikes, including a ride in the modern cableway to Kasprowy Wierch (1,987 m), or real expeditions to Tatra peaks, including elements of rock climbing. There are four large mountain hostels in the Tatra National Park, each of which can accommodate over 80 people. A night in the heart of the high mountains is also an option on the programme for company trips. In summer and winter alike visitors can relax after a day full of impressions at the Aquapark, which offers fun in swimming pools and on slides and relaxation in saunas and Jacuzzis. The outdoor geothermal pool, with its beautiful view on the imposing Tatra peak of Giewont, is a very pleasant place. It is certain that sitting in a comfortable coach on their way back to the airport or to Cracow, the participants will be planning their next visit to this charming town.
